Already in its fourth generation, the inn "Gasthof Durnthaler" is family-owned and run by Christine and Helmut Markert. It is our concern to offer the guests in their vacation not only relaxation, but also a familiar and cozy atmosphere. Our inn is an ideal starting point for your holiday activities. The summer leaves nothing to be desired. Hike through the Carnic Alps, mountain biking along the Carnic Cycle Path or get some refreshment in the lake "Pressegger See" - our inn is your perfect start. In winter, we are just a 3-minute walk from the "Millienium Express", which takes you to the "Nassfeld" ski area. But you can also enjoy other winter activities in our surrounding. The cross-country trail is just a few steps outside the front door. Winter hikes can be started directly from our house. The perfect start to the morning offers a rich and balanced breakfast. Down-to-earth and home-style home cooking from the region as well as entertaining with local guests are our top priority. In the inn "Gasthof Durnthaler" you will be spoiled by the owner of the house with the specialties of the region, such as the origin-protected cheese "Gailtaler Almkäse" or the bacon from the region. We use products that are produced by farmers from close proximity.
Well-kept guesthouse with rustic atmosphere. Close to the valley piste. All rooms have shower/WC, hair dryer and satellite TV, mostly with balcony. Access to crosscountry trail nearby. Ideal base for relaxing walks. We offer our guests a substantial breakfast buffet, choice of set meals and a generous salad bar.
