From Ballino to Refugio San Piero

This panoramic tour leads below the Malga di Tenno to the Refugio San Piero and back above the Lago di Tenno.
The beginning of the tour is very steep but easy to master even in summer temperatures, as the path leads mainly through the forest and is in the shade. At the top, below the Malga di Tenno peak, a short flat leads to the Refugio San Piero. This detour is highly recommended and a nice place to stop for a bite to eat. The view is a dream. Afterwards, the route goes steadily downhill to the starting point, always with a view of the turquoise-coloured Lago dei Tenno. At the end, you can take a brief look at a small, secluded grotto.
