Pichea, Tofino, Doss de la Torta, Gavardina, Corno dei Guì, Corno di Lomar, Roda, Cadria. In Valle di Ledro, if someone talks about the ‘Giro delle cime’ (i.e. Tour of the Mountain Tops), these are the mountains that come to mind, the highest in the valley.
Distance 25.8 km
Highest point2,185 m
Lowest point833 m
Very demanding route along the mountain tops which surround Val Concei like a crown. Above 2000 m all vegetation gives way to grassland and the eye is free to roam around. To the West is the Adamello, to the North the Brenta group, whereas Valle di Ledro unfolds to the South. Breathtaking landscapes for an unforgettable experience.
The best time to do this tour is on clear days, so as to enjoy the views to the fullest! Each mountain has its story and its identity. Mount Cadria, with its 2.254 m, is the highest mountain in Valle di Ledro. According to local legends Mount Gavardina is home to an enchanted being who watches over the valley, a fairy called Gavardina.
The stretch between Monte Cadria and Malga Cadria is particularly exposed (EEA: For experienced hikers only).
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
Take the SAT 402 path from Perigol to Bocca di Trat. Continue along the SAT 420 path towards Corno di Pichea and Monte Tofino, reach the Bocchetta dei Slavazì and turn into the SAT 455 path shortly before Doss de la Torta. Keep on the SAT 455 path towards Monte Gavardina, walk downhill to Bocca dell’Ussol and then uphill towards Corno di Guil, Corno di Lomar and Roda. After Bocca dei Tortavai, the last uphill stretch leads to the top of Monte Cadria, the roof of Valle di Ledro. From the top the SAT 423 path leads down to Malga Cadria and then towards the valley floor passing by Malga Vies. Once back in the valley, follow the asphalt road from the locality Ex-Centrale to Vedravì, turn left towards Rifugio al Faggio and then right (the signpost reads ‘Piste sci da fondo’) to get into the Val Sorda. Walk through the valley in order to reach Perigol, the starting point.

Good morning Roman,
It is difficult to say because snow conditions have been very voltatile these last few years. I think you should be able to do this hike in early May though. I suggest you get back in contact with us in late April to check whether there's snow or not.
