Easy and short, but nonetheless very satisfying, route, which unveils a less known corner of Valle di Ledro.

In the local dialect ferle means crutches. The little church of the Madonna Addolorata (i.e. Our Lady of Sorrows) owes its name to its reputation for miraculous healings. According to tradition, people with infirmities who managed to walk the via crucis and the staircase leading up to the church were cured of their infirmity and could walk again without need of crutches. Inside the church all the ex-votos left by believers through the years can still be seen.

Author’s recommendation

The church offers beautiful views over the village of Molina and the lower Valle di Ledro.
