The route unfolds at first through the villages of Pieve and Locca, then uphill along the Coste di Bariolo and downhill to the village of Mezzolago. It then runs along the lake towards Pieve. A concentrate of Valle di Ledro: villages, woods, beaches and wonderful sceneries.

Author’s recommendation

Lake Ledro belongs to the cleanest and warmest lakes in Trentino and it can boast four public beaches. Ideal for a dive! Together with another 110 archaeological sites in the Alps, the pile-dwelling settlement on the shores of Lake Ledro has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011.

Also suited to E-MTBs.

Nice tour. As a young family with baby chair we left out the climb section. There is a misleading part in the gpx track that lets you go onto Camping Al Sole and then jumps onto the main road. This should be edited and preferably go down the pedestrian road below camping Al Sole towards the lake. In doing so, it is much safer for young families.
