Tremalzo Big Tour is among the most demanding and spectacular tracks which Valle di Ledro has to offer to MTB lovers. The alpine meadows of Tremalzo, Guil and Leano, the rocky walls facing Lake Garda, the villages on the valley floor, Lake Ledro and the mountains which can be seen in every direction. At every turn the landscape changes and reveals a breathtaking view.

Author’s recommendation

Food and drink stops along the way: Rifugio Garibaldi, Ristorante da Richetto and Albergo Garda in Tremalzo, Rifugio degli Alpini in Passo Nota and Baita Segala between Passo Nota and Passo Guil.

Also suited to E-MTBs.

Turn-by-turn directions

Follow the cycling path from Pieve di Ledro towards Lake Ampola. Shortly before reaching the lake, at the edge of the wood, turn left into the dirt road leading up. At the fork take the asphalt road (SP 127) leading up to Tremalzo. After reaching the pass , take the dirt road towards to Baita Segala. Flat stretches alternate with light ascents/descents. Continue towards Passo Guil along dirt road, where the steep descent towards Leano and Pré begins. From the village, follow the cycling path to Molina di Ledro, reach the Pile-Dwelling Museum and cycle along the southern shore of the lake towards Pieve. Take the cycling path to go back to Tiarno di Sopra.

The bus takes up to three bycicles.

Getting there

Exit the A22 motorway at Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda – Follow the SS240 della Val di Ledro to Tiarno di Sopra and turn into Via Vittorio Emanuele towards Piazza Milín. Further options
