The famous Tremalzo Pass high above Lake Garda is the centrepiece of this challenging mountain bike tour. In October of each year, the route can be conquered in the course of the Tremalzo Bike Race.

The panoramic tour leads bikers with good physical condition to the popular Passo Tremalzo and then to Monte Zenone, which is on the programme in the second half of the tour. Technically, the route is doable for most, but the approx. 28 kilometres of pure ascent are not to be underestimated and require good stamina and endurance.

Turn-by-turn directions

First, the route leads over gravel and through several rock tunnels to the Passo Nota. This is followed by the difficult part of the climb over many bends and hairpin bends up to the Tremalzo Pass. Here you are rewarded with a breathtaking panorama and should definitely take a break. The descent to the San Michele valley is not technically demanding, where the second climb of the tour begins. Once you reach Monte Zenone, you can enjoy a great view of the entire route and the starting point of Tremosine. Now a last, steep descent awaits you until you reach the starting point of the tour again.
