The Tremalzo area stands out for its incredible biodiversity and the extraordinary concentration of endemic species, botanical rarities which can’t be found anywhere else in the world! Each year, in autumn and spring, migratory birds en route for Africa or on their back to Europe fly over Tremalzo. At the bird ringing station in Casèt, these birds get caught in nets and marked with a ring in order to monitor their migratory habits.
From the end of August to mid-October it is possible to join in the activities of the bird ringing centre in Casèt and watch the birds caught in the nets.
