This extreme Transalp route leads in eight stages from Weer in Tyrol to Riva del Garda. Both in terms of fitness and riding technique, we are at the highest level on this tour. You gain as many metres of altitude in your legs as an average biker does in a season.

This stage tour takes us from Weer in Tyrol to Riva del Garda, probably the most popular destination for crossing the Alps by bike. On this route we climb the Geiseljoch, the Pfitscherjoch, the Pfundererjoch and the Limojoch, we stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo and bike up to the Rifugio Cinque Torri. We pedal to the Passo San Pellegrino and continue über the Passo di Lusia, until we stop in the famous South Tyrolean wine-growing area of Etschtal and „digest“ the hilly metres and trail descents we have covered so far with a glass of Gewürztraminer. Where other alpine crossings are already coming to an end, this route really gets going. Wonderful passes and scenic highlights still await us. Via the Grauner Joch and the Passo San Giovanni we reach the Lago di Toblino, over the shore of which the castle of the same name towers.
