Walk - Footpath to Benne Fortress
The fortress is about 2 km from the centre of Levico Terme, placed on the top of the hill overlooking Lake Levico.
Also called Fort San Biagio, it was built by the Austro-Hungarians between 1880 and 1882.

Toilets available at the fortress while the water is not potable; it is therefore recommended to bring along a bottle of water.

Turn-by-turn directions
From Viale Vittorio Emanuele in Levico Terme, go up along Viale Roma for 20 meters, taking Via San Biagio on the left.
After about 400 meters at the crossroads on the right, go up the dirt road passing the former Austrian aqueduct and, further ahead, keeping to the left, the Giovannini farm.
Keep going up to the right to Colle delle Benne (653m) on which the fort stands.
For the return, it is possible to make the way down.
For those who want, they can still go down the other side, reach the Locintainer, go down to the lake and go all the way along the fishermen's road until you reach Via Belvedere and go up to Viale Vittrorio emanuele starting point
