The first part of the hike is on an asphalted road, it then continues on a dirt track through a fir wood.This trail was once used by the shepherds during the transhumance to carry the animals up to the alpine meadows of the Agaro mountain.The route we are following doesn’t climb up to the serpentines but bends towards località Fradea, where it is possible to overlook the “masi”, the “mountain houses” of Castello Tesino inhabitants. The circuit ends once the starting point is reached.

By road

On the Valsugana highway SS 47 coming from Trento take the exit marked to Strigno and follow the signs to Tesino plateau and Castello Tesino, coming from Bassano del Grappa take the exit marked to Grigno and follow the signs to Castello Tesino and Passo Brocon, carry on for 5 km to Fradea where is possible to see Kapriol hotel and Chalet Abete Rosso hotel.

Percorso bello, molto vario da prima si parte su asfalto davanti ad un hotel e ristorante, si sale su una strada ripida che poi diventa sterrata e pianeggiante e si immerge nel bosco, poi si scende per un sentiero nel bosco che ci ha riportato sull'asfato in loc Magri, si rientra quasi subito in un bosco, poi dopo aver superato alcuni "masi" si ritorna su strada sterrata e così con questi continui cambi di ambientazione si ritorna al punto di Partenza. Per noi ha superato le aspettative. Ottima la cartellonistica che su un percorso come questo con "mille" incroci è fondamentale. 👏👏🔝🔝
