Passo Manghen by way of Val Calamento
Race cycling
· Valsugana, Lagorai, Tesino
After leaving behind the Valsugana and the town of Telve, provincial road no. 31 climbs surely and steadily up to the pass. The road doesn’t present any excessively steep stretches however there is also not much opportunity for “recuperating” while pedalling.

Turn-by-turn directions
The road winds along the left orographic bank of the Maso torrent, in the first stretch passing through dense fir forests before coming to the town of Baesa. Numerous sign-posted turnings lead off to mountain farmhouses and clusters of Summer dwellings. Passo Manghen is the departure point for numerous excursions up to the Lagorai mountain range: just two of the most popular destinations are Cima Ziolera (2,478 metres a.s.l.) and the magnificent Lago delle Buse.
