Going up the Val Tolvà starting from Val Malene can be an exciting experience: a small road that with gentle slopes crosses a dense forest of larch and fir trees leads to the Tolvà Refuge, where the panorama opens up and reveals enchanting landscapes, the kingdom of chamois and roe deer.

Getting there

Dalla Statale 47 della Valsugana uscire all'uscita per Castel Ivano (Strigno) - Valle del Tesino. Si raggiunge e si oltrepassa, Strigno e Bieno, giunti poi a Pieve si seguono le indicazioni a sinistra per la Val Malene. In dieci minuti poi si raggiunge il campeggio.

Equipment

Per tutte le escursioni con le racchette da neve si raccomanda un abbigliamento adeguato anche in caso di repentini abbassamenti di temperatura e che non si bagni a contatto con la neve (capi di vestiario impermeabili tipo Gore-Tex). Inoltre guanti, berretto, occhiali da sole e crema protettiva dovrebbero far parte della normale dotazione di ogni componente del gruppo.

Si ricorda che calzature inadeguate (troppo strette o non sufficientemente impermeabili ) possono dar luogo a principi di congelamento ai piedi.

Suggeriamo di dotarsi del kit per l'autosoccorso in valanga, composto da Artva-Pala-SondaI bastoncini risultano estremamente utili e sono consigliati.
